selenay: (Tara - lovely)

Somehow last night's genius plan to have an early night last night after all the rushing around didn't work as intended. I took my sleepy tea, watched a bit of TV and went to bed. The sleepy tea did it's thing but for some reason I fought it so that I could read and when I finally turned out the light, I was no longer sleepy.

Note to self: do better tonight.

Peking Pork Bites were a big success and I am glad that I had some on Saturday night because they were all gone by the time I got to the table at the pot luck. They were so amazing that I shall be treating myself to the rest on Sunday and crowing happily about having them all for me, me, me.

Why do I suspect that Sunday is not going to work out like that? Perhaps it is experience. My plans never work out as I hope, particularly when they involve me getting to eat delicious food in peace.

There were other things that I was going to say, but they have departed. Like the wind. Or something.

As for this week's Robin Hood...

It was better than last week, but that doesn't say much. The Guy-shaped hole is still obvious despite this week's villain being rather mad and vengeful.

Kate continues to grow in awesomeness and I may be falling in love. But someone, please do something about her hair. For the love of god.

Much was also awesome and is totally getting his heart trampled on.

I am very happy that Kate is not being paired off with Robin as a Marion-lite and the Kate/Allan thing is rather fun and bitchy. More please :-) But if you could hold off with the on-screen and give us big UST for the entire season, that would be lovely.

The best bit was the trailer for next week because we get Guy back. W00t! Someone needs to tell him that froofy spaniel hair is wrong, wrong, wrong but otherwise I'm so completely happy to have Guy back particularly if he's going to be angry and vengeful and terrorise Vasey totally. That would work for me.

Lastly, please could we stop with the hero-worshipping of Tuck. Please.

And very, very lastly I was so pleased to see John a nice little moment with Kate that remembered and acknowledged his family. Awww.

I thought the Guy-shaped void in this week's was so big that they needed to get a Guy-lite in.

I could come around the the Kate/Allan way of thinking if it was Much/Kate/Allan: Much brings buttercups, Kate gives buttercups look of total 'WTF?!', Allan sniggers, Kate kicks Allan in the shin for being rude, Much does smug!triumphant look, Kate kicks Much in the shin for being presumptive, Much and Allan need to spend rest of episode leaning on each other and find they like it, while Kate wanders along wondering what the hell she's going to do with a massive bunch of buttercups.

I have seen the new alleged Robin. *opens the vodka* He is from Eastenders. D: My hopes of Guy being outlawed on his arse are not looking good. *lip quiver*

I like Guy's froofy spaniel hair. I think he'll keep it froofy now because when it was wet, Prince John liked grabbing it while biting Guy's shoulder during the two episodes of X-rated hawt ghey corruption they'd BETTER put in the boxset or I'll be annoyed!

Indeed. The show simply doesn't function without Guy.

I don't think we should tell them that. They'll only put Tuck in leather trousers.

OK, now that actually could be very fun :-) Provided we have lots of bitchy UST leading up to it, because that is always awesome with a side-order of funny.

It could! :-D But it does need heaps of sweet!Much to cause baffled!Kate and get the UST up and running.

Oh. God. No. *holds out glass for vodka*

*brims glass* I know, my beloved show's starting to taste of soap. :-\

But...but...but...outlaw Guy would be brilliant! And...and...and...

Is there any reason for me to continue with this show after Robin and Guy are gone?

Outlaw!Guy'd be amazing. He'd be all grumpy and hate it and get all resentful and sulky.

I'm seriously reconsidering my position and may drop this show BEFORE the end of the season if I don't get some SERIOUS Guy action. The thought of next season being Vasey-less and a soap-clone being airlifted in when they already have TOO MANY characters (and the new producers favour their own)... ICK! :-(

*backs slowly away from the crazy*

Nope, sorry, still want S2 Guy hair back with the eyeliner. He's going to need to do some work next week to convince me though the froofy hair.

Dude, froofy hair or not, it's still GUY! It's GIZ! *clings to the Gisborne!hawt* Two weeks of Guy-less dreck where the bastards didn't so much as throw ONE half-nekkid Allan my way by means of an appeasing (appealing!) sop - froofy hair or not! *makes grabby hands* GUY! GUY! WELCOME BACK! *smushes The Emonator*
