selenay: (books 2)

My plan tomorrow to have a completely lazy day - possibly never getting out of my pyjamas - until I go out to fetch my aunt for supper have been rather derailed. Instead I'm sleeping in, fetching my aunt to run some errands and then going to lunch with her.

But fear not! This should instead mean that I'm going to have a thoroughly lazy afternoon and evening. As it's been a while (read, over a year) since I watched any of the Lord of the Rings movies, I thought I'd use this as an excuse :-) I'm also planning to do a re-read because I missed last year's and listening to the soundtrack in the car has got me buzzing to actually read the books. First, though, it's movie time.

And now the critical question - which one? Obviously they're all extended editions, that goes without saying. Fellowship has the value of being beautiful and being the first, so there would be momentum to it. Return of the King has been watched least often by me and it's incredible. If I start with Fellowship then I'll be watching in order, but I'm not sure when I'll next have enough free time to watch Two Towers and I really want to get to Return of the King.

Help me, f-list! You're my only hope :-)

ETA: Fellowship it is, then!

Watch ROTK! and then TT! and then FOTR!

It's like a whole new viewing experience.

I usually start with the first and then just watch them all, either on a weekend or weeknight. But I'm maybe lazier than you and therefor have more free time?

Oh no! Not all at once on a weeknight, but I will watch one on one night, then another the next night.

I have no problem telling people I am busy doing things with myself. I need that weekend time. Plus sometimes the things people want me to do I can't afford or am not interested in anyway. Like this weekend I am missing out on a road trip to New Glasgow to see some bands. Oh well. There will be other chances. But hey I went to knitting this week!

Yeah I am glad I went to knitting, and think that going on library nights is probably a better idea than restaurant night since I really need to reign in the spending.

It´s about balance. I need to say yes more and be more productive around the house like you. But maybe you could say no more and be a bit lazier like me :P Want to life swap for a day?

I´d like to change the notion that being selfish is bad. If that´s the case, then I´m shamelessly selfish and don´t care what anyone thinks! RAR!

Oh and also I totally slept past my alarm by 45 min and have been on the couch for 2 hours since I got up. Whups. Time to jump in the shower and get this day started (Frasier is being lazy too, it´s all his fault).
