Holiday Day 6: Laziness and Thai food
Mar. 25th, 2006 04:45 pmMy aunt returns to Canada tomorrow and that's making me sad :-( I'm going to miss her and I can't help feeling bad because I haven't really been at my best during this trip. I really wish that the back and hips hadn't reached quite the state they have because it meant that I was often feeling utterly crapped out a lot of the time rather than being happy, bubbly and able to enjoy people's company. Bleh.
But I'm enjoying the remaining time. She and my mom are currently out visiting someone for an hour and during the break I've been putting together a CD of photos for her. We've helped her sort out which kind of computer she'll need so that she can order it without fear and hopefully we'll all be emailing back and forth in no time.
Mostly today has been a lazy day. Tonight we're having a sending off meal at the Thai restaurant, a food type that we have introduced to my aunt and she's already a big fan :-) Tomorrow she jets back to Canada, but we've managed to talk her into another trip maybe next year so it's not too bad. And I'll see her when I go over for a visit in October.
Can't believe that this week has flown by so fast. I'm not ready for the holiday thing to end!
