Atlantis: Epihpany - first thoughts
Jan. 18th, 2006 09:14 pmUm, John Sheppard is really going for the whole Kirk thing, isn't he?
Also, Elizabeth went on a mission! Yay! I feel that she needs to do this more often. If she could get a little dishevelled, maybe some dirt smudges on her cheek, that would also be cool. If she could get stranded on a planet alone with Teyla, I'd know that the writers are reading this LJ ;-)
I very much enjoyed this ep, despite John's Kirk-alike attempts.
I need to find a poster for signing at Pegasus One. Does anyone know whether there are currently magazines with Atlantis posters in them on the British newsagent shelves?
Also, I'm trying to come up with some designs for name badges for the con. They're a fun way to meet people and put names to the faces of people that I've spoken to on-line but never met, so if anyone wants one you can either leave a comment on this journal or email me privately on selenay936 at selenayhaven dot com. Even if you're a lurker who hasn't friended me and has never spoken to me, come out of the wood work and say hello.
Can't believe that it's less than three weeks now :-)
Apparently the first discs for season 2 are up for pre-order in places. I must investigate...

Date: 2006-01-19 10:55 am (UTC)*snicker* John is the multi-purpose ship subject, though. Unlike most of the others, it's perfectly possible to put him in multiple ships without blowing your brain or going "eh?" 'Cos I wasn't actually annoyed by the whole kissing the girl thing despite my Sheppard/McKay tendencies.
And I'm hanging my head about the typo. I actually retyped Epiphany because I mis-spelled it the first time...

Maybe that´s a deep metaphor for something. Or not.

I'm fairly sure that, like the ferris wheels, the storm thing can be taken either way but was probably intended as having no metaphor or anything. Um. Possibly.
My brain hurts today.
