Selenay's Ramblings

This has been a rather up and down week. I felt great at the beginning of the week but had to go home from work on Thursday with a migraine :-( I've had some announcements at work that I'm not happy about (two members of the department have announced that they're leaving which means that somebody has to make up their work for at least two months - guess who?), but my aunt arrived this week and we're having a great time :-)

The week ended well - a trip to see Saturday Night Fever at the local theatre followed by lots of lovely Thai food. Yummy :-)

I watched SGA while I was home with the migraine. It was just at the sleepy, dopey phase at the end of the migraine so my reactions possibly aren't what they would have been if I'd watched it while awake and normal. I did enjoy it and thought Conner Trinnear (sp?) was great, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd expected to. I guess that it needs rewatching so that I can appreciate it without migraine residue :-)

Today we're having a big family do. Yay! And I also got paid for the Never Ending Website - I cashed the cheque even though the thing isn't live yet because all I'm doing now is waiting for the official go on a website that they've said they're happy with. So yay. Tomorrow I may attempt to get some fannish things done. Got fics to write and other goodies. I also want to spend time with my aunt, naturally, but getting a few odds and ends done would be handy if I can.
