Thanks, sweetie! The day, good or bad, is like any other day, except for the nice well-wishing. Got the chocolate and it was yummy. :))) Had some with virtual cake, too. ;)

:) It also helps to have that info in my LJ client, so if I'm not visiting the My LJ Portal page, that lets me know whose birthdays are coming up. Er, providing people have them written down, of course. ;)

*g* I've decided that this year's birthday is going to be different. I'm going to admit that it's happening and I've even turned on the thingy that puts my birthday on my LJ info. For once I'm going to attempt to enjoy the day - maybe that will defeat the Birthday Curse at last ;-)

Exactly! That's why I decided I wasn't going to go into hiding and pretend it didn't exist, so I wrote an LJ post about it. I'd been planning not to say anything, but decided that confronting the fear is better and that by saying something, I'm already breaking the curse. But I also had a head's up when my period came early (with my head cold, not a happy time) so it told me I'd be PMS and period free for my birthday. Next two years should be free of it, too, going by the lunar calendar. ;)
