In other news, it was ridiculously cold when I got up this morning. paranoidangel42 - I'm willing to concede that my room was much too cold, even. Somehow looking at the thermometer in the kitchen and seeing 14C didn't help. I ended up at work early because I was hurrying to keep warm around the house. That really should tell me something.

I bet my room's colder! Last night I had four layers on, which included three fleeces. On my feet I had a pair of socks, a pair of slipper socks and a pair of slippers and they were really cold. I ended up having to microwave my rabbit and sit it on my feet all night. Mind you, I reheated it when I went to bed and it warmed me up a treat.

I'm bored of this cold weather, I want it to be warm like it was last week!

Heh, yeah, your room is actually colder. I'm planning to only open the window a smidge tonight, rather than leaving it wide open, and hopefully won't get quite so frozen.

I don't think we can hope for warm weather yet, though :-( Not according to the ten day forecast at work. I probably wouldn't mind it so much if it weren't so damp - it seems to make everything colder :-(

Oddly enough, I'm really looking forward to winters in Canada. They have sensible things, like good insulation and decent heating. And rather less damp.

Hmm, I'm not sure that's terribly comforting! As the landing seems to be warmer than my room I've had the door open tonight, which seems to have helped a lot. Amazingly the cats have mostly stayed away.

I made the mistake of looking at the forecast and decided I'd rather not know - ignorance is bliss.

:-) Today wasn't much better and my legs seized up halfway home (never good), but I'm bearing with it. Grrr. Got Atlantis to look forward to tonight and then I'm having a really early night - maybe a bit of extra sleep will help.
