Flump: Home from con
Feb. 6th, 2006 05:16 pmI'm home from Peg One and it was absolutely fabulous. More detail later in the week when I'm less exhausted and have my photos downloaded from the camera :-) I was doing great until around half an hour ago when it suddenly hit me that I'm a wee bit tired...
Con, however, was great and I had an absolute blast. I made some new friends, met up with some old friends, found my Sheppard/McKay T-shirt and laughed so hard my sides hurt, both with friends and at the antics of the actors on stage. Really, Ellie Harvey nearly killed me *g*
The only downside was not getting to chat much to some people that I'd wanted to see (um, hi,
sazzle_02) and not quite finding
alyse. I think that I spotted you a couple of times, (the Nibble really was attached to his Gameboy) but I was on my walking stick and never quite managed to move fast enough.
However, I had such a great time that I've already signed up for Peg Two. Erm.
Full details will be added later. For now I must finish unpacking and then find somewhere vertical to rest for a while. Do I have to go to work tomorrow?

Date: 2006-02-06 07:17 pm (UTC)I didn't quite manage to get booked for next year - although Nibble wants to go - because they weren't selling tickets when we left (not that we could see) and because they weren't up on the website when I checked tonight :(

Date: 2006-02-06 08:12 pm (UTC)The tickets were on sale after the closing ceremony and had apparently been on sale that afternoon (judging by the number who waved hands as already booked when Brian asked), although I hadn't spotted that. I did quite quickly spot the queue for the tickets after the ceremony - it was a parallel queue with the autographs :-) But the tickets aren't up on the site yet - are you planning to book when they are?
And did Nibble enjoy himself? You?
