Wolf sent out a mailing today including details of SG-11 next November. Leaving aside completely the fact that I didn't think they'd run another, who do you think is the guest they've announced?

Um, is anyone out there remotely interesting in attending this event? *cringes* I know that I said no more SG cons, but...

I am so weak and shallow.

Of course, I had to pop over to the Wolf site to see whether there had been any more guest details for SG-10 and happened to notice that Neil Denis is now scheduled to appear (aw) and they've obviously been listening to yragg because Alex Zahara is also on the list. No Teryl though. Not that I was hoping for that or anything...

Ahem.

Third day and still not dead. Got to do a bit of SQL programming and some analysis today, which I enjoyed - most interesting day so far. Still can't get myself excited about the stuff that I'm analysing, but I did enjoy writing some nice, moderately complex SQL. I even got some nice "aha's" from the guy keeping an eye on me because I'd aliased the incredibly long table names and used some neat code. Aren't I the geek?

I can say definitely that I'm not going to SG11. Despite what everyone's been saying I knew SG10 wouldn't be the last. But it is going to be mine (last Stargate con, that is).

I was kinda assuming it would be the last Wolf con, particularly as Creation is now in on the act over here. Huh.

Apparently K and B are already signed up, but so far I'm resisting. If someone can promise a couple of free Teryl sightings next year, I might even resist the lure completely.

You say that like it's a surprise! If they do just an evening thing then I might go to that, but I'm not at all convinced about doing the whole con thing.

I'm going to see how it goes. I may decide to do one of the days if Teryl is a definite and spend my actual away-at-a-con-time at other things.

I couldn't resist the lure and booked for SG-11 so I have my three cons booked for 2006.

I have no cons booked for 2006 yet, mainly because I didn't know what my employment situation would be. I have, though, got one booked for 2007 *g*
