Another day...

selenay...not quite another dollar. Oh, well.
I think that I'm finally starting to relax into this holiday concept. Sat watching Holby City over breakfast (eep!), which I'll admit is daft but it's so darned addictive. Didn't have any scary messages in my inbox and I'm feeling quite perky. I even got the damage from my mechanic last night and his main comment was "never change that car - it's a fantastic little thing". Needed a new exhaust, but that was it and it passed the MOT without a problem. Seeing as he's had to advise me to get rid of at least one car (phone calls where the mechanic says "I'll get it through it's MOT, but you'll be wasting money if I do any more so it's best to sell it on before it falls apart around you" aren't a good Monday thing), getting such good news from him is a great relief. He's a terrific mechanic, the only person that I'd trust with my cars, but there's always this little niggle inside when Baby goes to visit him that this time she'll need selling.
But he thinks she could go for another ten years without any major work, so that's incredibly cool. The bill was about what I'd estimated it would be, so I'm happy. Just gotta go down to the Post Office and get my car tax sorted, then I'm all set with Baby for another year.
Plans for today:
Finish the Teyla/Weir wallpaper
Get at least one design mocked up for the website redesign
Buy milk
Do laundry
Work on Under Green Hills
Eat Chinese food while watching Robin of Sherwood
