Getting closer...

Spent most of my day fixing all of the bugs that one of my beta testers found and I'm starting to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel on the review database project. Woo!

Other activities for the day included a trip to M&S for food supplies and watching a bit of trashy TV. I successfully avoided speaking to any human beings apart from the checkout girl at the supermarket. Yay.

I'm so unsociable.

I'm now starved and have to make some supper - which means that I'm clocking off at a sensible time today. Also the cat is giving me pitiful "where's my supper?" looks.

But my break is going well, even if I didn't get the design work done that I'd planned.

If you fret too much about how you're not getting everything done you wanted to you won't have a proper break. And there's nothing wrong with a little unsociableness, at least in moderation!

*g* I keep trying to tell myself that worrying about what I'm not doing is not the way to enjoy my holiday. Not helping, somehow. But I'm feeling better about it now that I've got the review database pretty much debugged and I've done some prep work for my interview on Friday. I've gotta remember that I've still got several days of holiday left, dammit, so quit worrying about not having enough time!

And I'm never allowed to be excessively unsociable, sadly. Living in a house filled with other people sees to that - that's why I'm enjoying this break with no other people in the house!
