Jack's surname - one L or two? 'Cos I remember getting told off for getting it wrong in my first SG fanfic and have a horror of doing that again, except it's been too long since I had to write his surname and I just can't remember.
I knew there was a reasony why I gave him another surname in Serpent.
Today is a TGIF kind of day. I've mentioned to my co-workers a couple of times this week that my back is playing up and I'm trying not to do anything to irritate it further. Somehow, Nutty Colleague missed this. She even missed me say "do you have anything for me to do today that doesn't involve lifting, bending or moving too much?" this morning.
I spent the morning lifting, toting, scrabbling on the floor and generally feeling grouchy and creaky. Grrr.
I've taken the good painkillers, watched 'Hot Zone' and 'Before I Sleep' and am now attempting to write another Teyla/Elizabeth short fic. Not sure how sensible (or comprehensible) this will be.

Date: 2005-08-24 01:20 pm (UTC)Have you tried hiding subliminal messages in your conversations with NC? Can't think of anything witty off the top of my head. Maybe something like: 'That cake you wanted filing in the cake folder? Have you seen cake at all? I'm caked if I know where it's got too.'
