Dear Creator,
Thank you for writing for me. I'm sure you're going to write something amazing, so here are some thoughts and ideas that will hopefully help. My DNFs are pretty strong, but if there's something you want to do with these characters that I haven't suggested but it fits with the general themes of what I love, feel free to go for it! I've given some general stuff first and then I dive into the fandom-specific stuff.
Loves:
- Women rescuing each other
- Competency
- Cheesy tropes!
- Intense, passionate, world-shattering kissing
- Flirting, banter, humour
- Happy endings
Do not wants:
- Deathfic and sad endings
- Rape and dubcon
- Graphic violence, blood play, extreme kinks etc.
- Incenst, paediophilia, bestiality etc.
- Humiliation, adultery/cheating
- Character bashing
Vidding thoughts
- I prefer fun over angst, fluff over dark intensity.
- I love musicals, classical music, light rock, pop, and I'm not a huge rap or hip hop gal.
- For the right fandom, I'm a big fan of explosions highlighting good beats in the music.
- I love vids that tell a story, either of a relationship or of an alternative version to what was actually on screen.
- I adore cross-overs and mashups. Vids of the Avengers as the Friends opening credits? That kind of humour and clever cross-genre fun is my jam.

Think of England - KJ Charles
Fenella Carruth/Patricia Merton
I love these two so much, and getting their story this year in Proper English made me so happy. Fen and Pat are so different on the surface but they're beautifully matched. I love the way Fen presents herself as very fluffy and giggly, but has a brilliant mind underneath that is a part of what attracts Pat to her. I just want to know more about their lives after Proper English. I'd be equally happy with a domestic fic or another adventure, whichever you prefer writing, as long as they get a bit of happy romance time together.
Doctor Who
Thirteenth Doctor/Yasmin Khan, Thirteenth Doctor/River Song, Thirteenth Doctor/Missy
There's a theme here, I know. I adore the Thirteenth Doctor! But I also love speculating about how she'd interact with River or Missy, the characters I think of as the Doctor's two great loves, and I'd love to see your interpretation of it.
Missy had just about redeemed herself when we last saw her - did she do a Ten and regenerated into Missy again? Is she a new Missy? And what kind of interaction would she have with Thirteen - I suspect the body doesn't matter to her, it's the Doctor, but she's not blind to the differences. And I have always enjoyed the way not being evil doesn't come naturally to her - how does her tendency towards darkness interact with Thirteen's ray of sunshiny joy?
We know River met our earlier Doctors later in her life, so it's going to be a younger River who meets Thirteen. But when in her life and how does that affect things? Is it while she's also flirting with Twelve, or during her time with Eleven or…? I'd love a story about River and Thirteen dealing with their out of sync timelines, particularly if they're flirting and kissing their way through some kind River-like heist caper.
I've been shipping Yaz and the Doctor since the beginning. Their relationship on screen hasn't been developed enough, but the bits we've had have been delightful. I'd love to have a story where they're on an adventure just the two of them, perhaps where Yaz still hasn't noticed her attraction to the Doctor and the Doctor doesn't realise they aren't on a date. Because dates for the Doctor obviously involve monsters, running, and things blowing up.
Harry Potter
Hermione Granger/Luna Lovegood
There is so little fic out there for these two and I love them. It's my Harry Potter femslash ship of my heart. Luna's willingness to believe in everything and Hermione's firm belief in facts and what's real are such opposite sides of the coin and that's part of what I love about them: opposites attract! A story where Hermione is working for the Ministry and Luna is doing something Luna-ish, but their work collides would be absolutely perfect for me. And I'm firmly in the "epilogue what epilogue" camp.
This is also a pairing where I'm quite happy to read the most tropetastic AU, so feel free to go for that if it's your thing.
Star Trek
Keyla Detmer/Sylvia Tilly
Tilly has become my favourite character on Discovery and her interactions with the crew are adorable. Detmer is a character we don't know enough about, but she's clearly good friends with Tilly and cares deeply about her. I want Tilly to have happiness and romance and Detmer would be great for her. Maybe they're working on something in the post-season 2 future and sparks fly? Or maybe Detmer has been subtly trying to woo Tilly for a while but Tilly is oblivious (can you tell I love that trope?). Either scenario work for me and if you want to throw in any other classic tropes - huddling for warmth! Cabin in the woods! Pretend romance leads to real romance - go for it.
