You know how you start out a day with a plan and it's all neatly in your head, ready, and actually includes fun stuff like going to archery? And then you get home from the morning job, open your email and discover at least two messages that are going to wreck that lovely plan?

Well, this morning I got to a client site at Vauxhall for 9 to meet another of the client's supplies whose software was causing problems. He didn't turn up until about 11, which meant I was an extra two hours late getting to Docklands where I find everything I thought would be reasonably under (or to) control, isn't. At all.

I have machines but no RAM, except for the RAM of which there isn't enough. I don't have a server, now about 3 weeks overdue and the phones which were supposed to have been delivered on the 27th May have disappeared. And almost nobody I try and chase up about any of this stuff is replying. Which is nice.

Is it that sort of day you're having? I can not spare you the rest of the details if that helps?

*g* Your bad day just beat mine. I'm blowing off the job hunt (got the email related stuff sorted, but no jobs applied for which was the plan this afternoon) to shoot at targets. So what if I should be trawling Reed and Monster? I promised myself archery today and that is what I shall have.

Archery went very well. Very theraputic :-) The 'thunk' sound of successful shots is a good feeling. Didn't score myself, I just wanted to get my eye back in after a month out, which is probably why I was shooting really well :-)

Glad you're having a better day. Shooting stuff always helps ;o) I had a go at archery once and it was great fun.

*g* Archery is great fun and I'm glad that I've taken it up - even if I don't shoot well, it's a great stress reliever. How many other hobbies let you envisage the person that's really pissed you off and shoot at them with lethal pointy things? *g*

I've not posted anything at all in relation in my blog, just in case. It's all been in the Arms so far, which is public but less likely to be found. But we're having a 21st birthday party in there at the mo and I don't want to be depressing in there.
