Hello lovely person! Thank you for signing up for something I've requested! If you've got a story you've always wanted to tell about any of the pairings I requested, go ahead because the idea you're in love with will always write itself so much easier than a prompt from someone else :-D But if you want to know more about my loves and dislikes, read on.
General things I like: Kissing, happy endings, adventure, friendship as a basis for love, women rescuing themselves and each other, slow builds and moments of passionate declaration. I have a major weakness for the tropes. All the tropes. e.g. huddle for warmth, cabin fic, amnesia, matchmaking, AUs (particularly the coffee shop variety), fake relationships leading to real ones and so on and so forth forever and ever. Me + Tropes = OTP.
General dislikes: Tragic endings, PWPs, non-con, extreme gore and violence, BDSM etc.
Marvel Cinematic Universe
Yup, I'm a Darcy fangirl so fics where Darcy is awesome and snarky will always make me giddy. I do side-eye fics where Darcy is suddenly a ninja fighter with stunning sniper-like shooting skills, but I like my Darcy strong and feisty and able to take care of herself.
Fics where it's Darcy's strength and her ability to be funny in the face of danger that attract Natasha are my favourite and I'll probably do a happy dance if I ever find a fic where Darcy and Natasha find love while on the run from something scary. My head canon is always that Darcy and Natasha compliment each other: Darcy is emotionally strong where Natasha is broken and needs healing, Natasha is physically strong when Darcy reluctantly has to admit she can't actually rescue herself from the villain of the week this time.
Darcy/Sif is the pairing where it's all about cultural misunderstandings and Darcy really liking a woman who looks good in armour. I've read very little in this pairing and I crave fun, adventurey goodness with Darcy trying to keep Sif out of trouble in modern America and/or Sif quietly face palming (and being charmed) when Darcy goes to Asgard and accidentally breaks all the taboos.
Marvel 616
The current events in Captain Marvel play right into my love for the amnesia trope so something exploring how Carol and Jess reconnect after Carol lost her memories of everything they meant to each other would be great. Maybe they already had a relationship and Jess is trying to get that back? Or maybe Carol misinterprets their history and thinks they were together when they weren't and Jess realises that's what she's wanted all along?
I really can't express all the reasons I love Kate/America. America is fragile and angry, Kate is bright and light but Noh-Varr isn't substantial enough to hold her. Something exploring their differences and how that makes them fit together would be amazing.
2 Broke Girls
I've literally only just watched the pilot and immediately fallen in love with the pairing so you're free to go anywhere you want with this - I'm probably going to be mainlining it over the next month. Opposites attract and prickly friendships turning to love are what made me go a little starry-eyed over this pairing. A future fic where they've finally got their cupcake shop going would be fantastic if that's where you want to go. I have a love for food and baking in fic (and wooing through baked goods) so this pairing seems *perfect* for that kind of thing.
Once Upon a Time
Aurora/Mulan is one of those pairings where I just want "OMG, yes" the moment they appeared on the screen. As we've only seen them in the fairytale world, I'd be happy with a fic set there or an AU or anything you want to explore with them.
Ruby/Emma Swan plays on all my friends to lovers feels. I'm also a big fan of broken women healing each other and really dig the idea of Emma accepting and loving all of Ruby, even her more wolfish traits. So anything exploring those ideas would be amazing.
