selenayToday started out as though it was going to be a highly productive day. I had a meeting planned to go over the stuff for a group project for OU and then the rest of the day would be spent on relational databases, apart from some time out to fetch the parents from the station.
Got the meeting done. Very productive. The girl that I was meeting with has the same control freak tendencies as me so we've managed to completely map out what our group is doing and set out many deadlines and stuff. Very good.
Things fell down when I got home. I wandered around the Internet for a couple of hours instead of getting on with the relational databases stuff. Then the crappy software for relational databases actually worked first time, completely stunning me and sending me out on another Internet playing escapade. I got a tiny bit of college work done before my parents called to get me to fetch them. Oh, and could we stop at Tesco on the way home. At five o'clock. When the entire county has descended on Tesco and all the check-out girls have gone for their afternoon tea break. Grrrrrrr.
I did type up some more pages of Inner Voices 4 and fixed some of the problems that had me stalled on it. But that wasn't college work, sadly.
So, not as productive as planned. Partially my fault, but I'm blaming my parents as well. Although they did buy me this pretty handbag while they were away...
Argh! Girly thought! But the handbag is so pretty....
