Er, anyone know why my LJ spontaneously changed its style? Without me actually being in the management pages? I was just innocently browsing my f-page when the layout, colours and everything suddenly went kaplooey. After a couple of minutes of random clicking, checking in another browser and generally feeling puzzled, I popped into the management screen and discovered that the journal style had re-set to Generator. Hmmm.
Annoyingly, it means that I've had to restore all of my settings and it still doesn't look right. I could have sworn that there was more padding between the entry text and the borders. Grrr.
I have worked out how to create sparkly, lovely, horizontal drop-down menus without massive amounts of JavaScript. There is a teeny snippet of JavaScript, but it's mainly constructed with XHTML and CSS. If Microsoft hadn't crippled IE's CSS support, I wouldn't need any JavaScript at all. Bloody Microsoft.
But the menus are very cool :-) Now I just have to design a logo, draw up a final design for the site I'm redeveloping, make the final design work properly and get a go-ahead from the client. Then I can actually build the thing. So, not much work at all :-)

Damn things always seem to do things that nobody expects.
I have no idea what LJ was doing on Thursday - the problem for me began with one of
