Got my renewed passport so the England trip can go ahead. So excited!

Can't decide whether I'm more excited about Hay-on-Wye, the London Eye, tea at Browns or seeing Matilda. Going to fill the Kindle with books - mostly Hugo reading/pre-reading but also a few things to give my brain a break - and load the iPad with comics and TV shows so I'll get lots of relaxing in too. Only a month to go!

Managed to get myself out to yoga for the the first time this year. Go me? I am working out hard at home a minimum of four times a week, honest!

Finally, the end of Twilight is in sight. That thing actually gets worse the further I read. People actually read the other books, too? Yikes!

Well, Matilda of course, but then Hay-on-Wye. The one and only (alas!) time I was there, the Cinema Bookshop identified subjects by letter and number.

Science fiction was B7.

I envy you. My passport has expired, and I didn't even get to fill up all the pages. Postponing getting a new one until I have the money available to go on a good vacation again -- so, probably not till late 2013, if not 2014.

I made a calculated decision to just read cleolinda's recaps of the books and not bother with the actual texts. Because life's too short and I've already got more than a thousand fics saved to my Kindle, most of which I probably haven't read yet.

I seem to travel outside Canada at least once a year and with my parents living in another country, it seems wise to keep it renewed. The old one didn't expire until Septmber but Heathrow passport control can be difficult about not having six months left on it :-(

I get asked a lot about whether Twilight is suitable for people's kids and whether it's as bad as people say (apparently I am book guru) so I wanted to actually have opinions formed from my own reading rather than gathered from other readers' impressions.

I'm so happy that it's over thought. For once I posted my review over here. I might have got rather carried away...

It's been a few years since I last left the country (and I have no real reason to go overseas except for vacations), so my passport quietly expired a year or two back. Saddening, and I have to remember to renew it as part of my plans for the next time I can skip the country.

I can't recall having anyone personally ask me if Twilight is readable or not, so. (If so, I probably just said I haven't actually read it.) But, yeah, if I was getting asked a lot I might wind up reading it, too.
