The upgraded website is now on-line. Woo! And just in time for me to relax and forget about it for a few days while I enjoy the company of fellow fen at Redemption. Yay!
Of course, I still have a bunch of projects to work on:
1. Designing and implementing the database for the review archive
2. Re-reading Serpent in the Shadows so that I can remember how to spell names properly and don't put in random, daft, non-existant characters and/or facts in the sequel
3. Writing the sequel to Serpent in the Shadows
4. Getting back to the original novel
5. Making a couple of wallpapers that I promised people...in November
But the upgrade is done, which is worth celebrating.
And now I must finish preperations to leave for Redemption tomorrow. Got the word from the doc on the oogy - it's a bad throat infection, but it's viral. Damn. As I have a whole bunch of rants saved up about the over-prescription of broad-spectrum antibiotics and its relation to the rise of antibiotic resistant bacteris such as MRSA, I'm not gonna be bugging the doc for antibiotics. The good news is that it isn't tonsillitis. And she suggested switching to ibuprofen rather than paracetamol - more effective as an anti-inflammitory. Why do have to get a throat infection right before a weekend when I'll be talking twenty-four hours a day?
So, packing and working out my route to Redemption. Yay. Be back on Monday. If anyone else on my f-list will be at Redemption, say 'hi' if you spot an odd girl with red hair and a badge saying 'Selenay'. I'll try to croak a reply *g* Of course, I certainly hope to see
paranoidangel42 tomorrow because she's designated navigator *g*
