Ooh, money again

The agency got me another contract and I should be employed, at a good per hour rate, for at least four or five weeks. I start tomorrow. Yay! I now don't feel so bad about turning down the job offer from the interview on Tuesday because I'm financially sound for a while. Although I was excited about the job when I got home from the interview, when I had more time to think carefully about what they said and what they were doing, it wasn't something that I felt right about. Lots of reasons, but at the end of the day I would have been taking it out of fear that no one else will want me rather than because it was something I wanted. Now I can afford to take some time, wait to see whether any other applications pan out and make sure that the company is right as well as the work.

Of course, if I'm still temping in six months I may become less choosy :-)

I think that I'll be doing an icon post at the weekend. And a Teyla/Weir fic :-)

Thanks, hon :-) Job is going fine and they are talking to their techy folks to see whether they have a job for me - woo. The company seems OK to work for and so far they seem pretty pleased with my work.

So, yay, things are looking up :-)
