Before I launch into my Doctor Who-related babbles, quick report on the Wii Fit. The balance board and game arrived this week so I decided to set it up today and give it a go.

It's harder than it looks.

I really like the fact that I can tell it to set up a routine with a particular series of types of exercise and it just goes, no messing around in menus to get the next thing. I can see that is going to be the main way that I use this.

The strength and yoga is where this really, really excels and I suspect that it's what I'm going to find most useful. Interestingly, despite having a dodgy hip for four years, it's my left (bad) leg that is strongest particularly when I'm doing one-legged exercises. The right wobbles all over the shop. It's great getting that kind of feedback and confirmation. Perhaps I've been so aware of my left leg issues that I've overcompensated for years, working the left harder than the right and ending up with this imbalance?

It's not exactly unlikely.

Anyway, a lot of these exercises are much harder than you think and but fun at the same time. I even quite enjoyed the step aerobics, although my terrible co-ordination became very obvious.

As one of my big ideas with this was to improve strength, balance and general muscle tone rather than weight loss, I think it's going to work out really well.

In other Wii news, I may be a little obsessed with Tiger Woods PGA 10. Just a tiny bit. It's so much fun!

Onto Doctor Who stuff. In a week's time, the new series starts. I feel the need for some re-watching in preparation but don't know quite what I want to focus on. I'm definitely rewatching Logopolis and Castrovalva this weekend for a Classic Doctor Who fix, but what next?

Should I do a full S1 re-watch, as it's been a while and I'd forgotten how much I loved Christopher Eccleston?

Or combo of the final few eps of S1 and the final few of S2?

S2 and S3?

My S4 discs are currently lent out, but would a S1 and S4 combo be best?

Can I actually stand to re-watch the end of S4 with the inevitable Donna-related trauma?

Would it maybe be more appropriate to go for the first two eps of each season?

I've already done a Last of the Time Lords re-watch, now I'm horribly conflicted!

Feedback is needed! And would anyone be interested in me doing some commentary on my original reviews with the hindsight gained from seeing what comes after those episodes? The cats are just no help when it comes to making these decisions :-)

You just can't get the cats these days :)

My parents have the original Wii Fit, so I think the games are the same but the way you get to them is slightly different. I don't have it because the only one I like is ski jumping :)

Ski jumping on the Wii is what set me up for ski jumping in real life!!! It was remarkable how well the technique worked on a real ski slope. :D
