More detailed thoughts tomorrow, but really need to quickly note:

- Eeeeeeee!

- Totally gripping, very dark and quite terrifying. That was the toned down version?

- The trailer for the next episode...Donna!!!!!!

- I get the feeling that RTD intended this to be broadcast next Saturday. Do you?

- OMG, that was totally awesome. Actually far more than I ever expected.

- Is it Christmas yet?


No exclamation marks were harmed in the making of this post. One or two may have been slightly creased, though.

Is there any significance to next Saturday, apart from the matching date?

Next Saturday would have been the closest Saturday to the anniversary. As RTD has a thing for airing specials on memorable days, I was half expecting it to air then once we knew it was definitely not going to be on Halloween.

David Tennant was saying on the radio on Saturday that RTD just 'picked that date out of the air' as far as he knew.
