Not quite 2005 yet
Dec. 31st, 2004 06:01 pmI was tempted to do one of the 'my 2004' memes that I've seen around over the last couple of days. But the only one I might be able to fill in (the '2004 by fanfic' meme) would terrify me because I haven't written as much fic as I'd hoped that I would at the beginning of 2004. So I'll just say that 2004 had it's ups, it's downs and it's meh moments. 2005 will be scary (employment again! Novel writing!) and strangely college-less, but hopefully fun. And that's it for the introspection. New Year's resolutions? Never managed 'em :-)
I have, though, got a list of things to finish in 2005:
Mage Murders (original novel)
Inner Voices 4 (Jack/Daniel)
A Sensible Man (original short story - please, god, be short)
I was intending to write a note yesterday about the tsunami. I want to write something today. But words can't encompass it and so that's where I'll leave it.
Tonight I will be breaking with New Year tradition and not falling ill. This means that I will be out celebrating. A meal with a friend followed by festivities in the pub. Woo! Dancing may not happen, however, because the toe that got broken over two weeks ago is surprisingly unhealed. Bleh. Possibly I shouldn't have gone for a two mile hike a couple of days ago. Uh-huh.
Lastly, my very bad icon-making talents!

Please credit/comment if you'd like any :-)
