Last year I didn't care that my AI software was buggy because I hated the course. This year my relational databases course has the best content and the worst piece of software I've ever used! The damn thing is ten years out of date so, of course, it won't run smoothly on my computer. Each time I've tried to do any work on the course, I've spent thirty minutes just trying to get it to run (usually re-booting the computer at least twice) and swearing blindly. Gah. That means I'm wasting, on average, an hour each week fucking around with crappy software.
Why?
Sorry about the language. Just feeling a little cranky and I haven't even started work on my research project today. That's my 'fun' plan after lunch :-( My mood hasn't been improved by the neighbour's kid playing rap or garage or some crappy stuff very, very loudly.
When is the weekend?

I hope things get better and the brat next door shuts the hell up. On a darker note...my little brother is off to Iraq today. He'll be gone for 18 months. Please, please keep him in your prayers. I don't know what I'd do is something happened to him.
