How did I manage to be off-line for nearly a week? How did I not go crazy? More importantly, why did I only get the urge to plunge back into the on-line world today?
And I call myself an Internet addict. Pah!
Christmas was very good. Spent lots of time with the family, we didn't kill each other and I'm still feeling quite cheerful about it all. Have watched lots of DVDs, have many more to watch and have scheduled Monday afternoon as the big RotK EE watching day. We figure that we'll need to watch it in stages with a supper break between the two disks, hence booking an afternoon and evening for it. The big debate is who's copy we watch: sis and I had several duplicate pressies this year :-) Not that we mind - she's hopefully moving out in a couple of months, so we shouldn't have to argue over who gets custody of stuff. Woo!
The annoying part of Christmas was getting a plot bunny for an original fic. It's a bit weird, absolutely not what I normally write and surprisingly persistant. It will probably end up as a longish short story and then I'll have to work out what the hell to do with it. Ack.
Guess that I'd better get looking through the backlogged f-list and mailing lists. The only downside to long periods of off-line stuff :-(
