selenayTo celebrate my degree results, we ordered in Chinese take-out and I broke my toe. Go me :-)
It's rather icky and mangled looking. It hurts a lot. It's doing a darned good impression of being broken. Mom bought me a new (larger, looser) pair of slippers this morning so that I can at least protect my toes from further breakage and be comfortable. My usual slippers are far too tight for the toe that's the size of a satsuma. I believe that I'll spend the rest of the day on the sofa with some DVDs - may try to find the Easter Eggs on the extended editions LotRs and try not to wish it was Christmas day so that I could have Return of the Kind EE.
The Chinese, though, was very yummy. Obviously my family know what I consider a treat :-))
The sofa and DVD combination will prevent me from writing today. Drat. I'll get back to Mage Murders tomorrow - I'm determined to be at the 30K words stage by the end of this month. Fanfic will be much easier to write when I've got this original thing out of my head :-)
