The Great Debate

selenayI am currently reading my lovely hardcover copy of 'Victory of Eagles' by Naomi Novik. Thoroughly enjoying it, but it's definitely not book to be stuffed into a bag and carried around. So I need a transit book.
Part of me wants to start the annual LotR read, particularly as I missed last year's what with all the moving and general craziness. After all, each volume isn't too bad as a bag book and I do love it.
Another part of me knows that I should use the book buying diet as a chance to make progress on the to be read pile before I'm allowed off the leash to buy new things.
Oh, the dilemma! The trauma! The indecision! I turn to you, lovely well-read f-list, to aid me in my moment of need. After all, the last time you lead me to the Fellowship movie and I have since watched Two Towers and there is a good chance that I'll get to Return of the King next weekend. So it all worked out beautifully!
Help me, f-list, you're my only help :-)
