What I want to know is whether it has to be a brand new, never ever touched before idea or whether I could use it to get Donna the Time Lord finished. I've only got a couple of pages of that written, but I know what it is and I never seem to actually get around to putting words on the page.
So I'd lose my life to it for a few months, but it could be really worth it.
OTOH, do I want to lose several months to intensively writing a fic where I actually have to put in the action adventure stuff properly in order to reach the word-count?
So torn.
It would be lovely to get some good art work on it and I know that it would be a better fic than it will be if I keep poking away uncertainly at it.

Date: 2009-01-27 12:19 am (UTC)I'm not sure what I would write for this one. Probably the Sarah/Doctor thing that's been turning around in my head of late.
I don't remember what the criteria were, but I don't think you've written enough that you'd be disqualified from writing that.
I did dread writing out the action-adventure stuff, but it turned out not to be too bad.
