Confusion and writing progress

Has someone been talking about Serpent in the Shadows somewhere? Reccing it? Being an insane woman? 'Cos I usually don't expect more than two FBs on an old (i.e. posted more than one month ago) fic in one year and yet I've had two this week. And it's Wednesday. It's just so...weird. Should I worry?

Day three of the holiday has gone well. Got a haircut. Watched three Alias eps. Sorted through two more drawers and discovered that you really can't have too many purple sweaters. Only half, out of ten sweaters. OMG, I have ten sweaters? When did that happen?

I also have to squee a little about the pressie that Kate and Beth gave me for the birthday. The day was a couple of weeks ago and anyone who mentions it again will be shot on sight *g* So, the pressie. Anyone seen those long, cardboard frames that can hold five 6x4" photos? Often sold at conventions with photos in? That you can choose? Kate and Beth are officially wonderful people - I've got beautiful photos of Sam, Janet, Jack, Teal'c (with hair!) and Daniel. I've just got to find somewhere to display it because it's too beautiful to hide. Online friends are wonderful people ::beams::

Also did some more work on Mage Murders, which is cool. Tomorrow I'm hoping to get some fanfic stuff done as well as the origific.

Tonight is Stargate/SGA night and the sis ain't here so I may get to watch them when they're airing. Woo! Still gonna record for later re-watching, but there's something special and exciting about having to sit down at a specific time to watch something. I could be nuts, though.

ETA: For all OU students, results will be up on the student pages on 16th December. Cripes. Not my research project, but all other course results will be there. Maybe I'll stay in bed that day...
