Assignment deadlines - gah!

selenayYou know when isn't a good time to discover that the assignment you thought was due on Thursday at 11 pm is actually due on Tuesday at 11 pm? Monday at midnight. D'oh!
I spent a lovely sleepless night last night because I kept thinking about all the things I had to do for the assignment. The streaming video paper was written but there was still a bunch of network simulations to plan and run along with a bunch of other crap. I've spent the day working on it and . . . it turned out that there was less to do than I thought there was. Grr!
But at least now it's finished and I can spent a lazy night in front of the TV gratuitous snack products. Gotta love Tuesday night - Tru Calling, CSI, Law and Order. No need to think about college stuff or make any mental effort at all for three whole hours :-) If my regular pub with the mates night gets changed to Tuesday (they keep threatening - no!) then that will be my slob-out night gone. Thankfully, pub night is still Monday and I get to veg out completely tonight. After today, I need it :-) I didn't even have time to get distracted by any fanfic.
Well, apart from reading an episode of Watchers as reward for getting the assignment submitted with six hours to spare :-)
