Ah, the freedom

I took the assignment down the Post Office and university is now officially over. Unless I fail something, in which case I'll scratch that remark and cry. But I'm very fairly slightly confident that I haven't flunked anything.

All of this means that I got to spend the morning doing non-college stuff. Yay! The Haven has been updated with new reviews. Fifteen of them. I was surprised to find that I had more than one Stargate review in my inbox and less surprised to have more than one Atlantis review :-) Hopefully this is the last time I do the update with tons of copy and pasting - on Monday I begin reading up on PHP and MySQL so that I can get the thing onto a database. Whoo!

I also did some writing. I've got some final checks to do on a Teyla/Weir thing and I also managed some work on the novel:

Words handwritten today: 1,000
Total words handwritten: 15,500

Go me :-) Still no comment on typed up totals...

Mucho congratulato on finishing uni. I'm sure your results will be fine. Are you going to do any graduate or post-grad type study now or are you SO over it? :o)

Well...

I'm taking next year out of studying. I'm a little burned out at the moment. Then in November I plan to start an undergrad course in French :-) I'm tempted by some of the postgrad computing stuff, but I want to get some French in before I start doing that.

Then there are all the books that I'm reading to teach myself stuff because I am too sad :-)

Very cool. I'm tempted to do Chinese when I finish my degree and maybe Honours. Its just that doing languages is so expensive with all the textbooks and general palaver :o) That's just the great thing about living in a country with free education, I guess, huh. You can be a professional student for the rest of your life!

*g* She is indeed. Evil, as I recall, but who said that everything evil is ugly? In fact, many of Whedon's prettiest characters were completely evil.

Makes it kinda hard to disapprove of the bad guys when they're gorgeous, if you're as shallow as I am *g*
