I have two kittens asleep in my lap. They've decided that it's the Best Place Eva! for their mid-morning nap :-)

The kitties and I are currently in jail (i.e. in the computer room) while a nice man fits a new back door. I don't think the kitties are ready to face the big wide world yet and I know that Annie would be trying to see what's outside if we didn't have her in here! They had a good run-around and tussle session before the door guy arrived, a bit more running and tussling once we got locked into here and now they're tired babies. Awww.

I had planned to spend the day at home today but there is now a chance that I might need to give my aunt a lift this afternoon to pick up her computer. [livejournal.com profile] historyterry, I'll drop you a line if I have to go out.

There be spoilers for Heroes under the cut.

I caught the Heroes season premier last night and all I can really say is "Wow!". The producers/writers really did listen to what was wrong with last season because this was dark, unexpected and completely fascinating. Is it next week yet?

Also, Hiro is still adorkable, flawed and brilliant. Yay Hiro!

Heroes? Spoilers?

Ah, that'll be why you travelled to the West then! Damn, I have housework I've got to do this evening.

Or I can watch 2 hours of Heroes, 1 of Sarah Connor, and half of Big Bang (less adverts)...

I got through Sarah Connor and The Big Bang (and an episode of season one of the Riches, which is being repeated on Virgin), but kept Heroes for tonight, and did some of the tidying I needed. Not enough.

What I hadn't counted on was being mugged by new episodes of Fringe, House and Eureka which downloaded during the day. And there's another season one episode of the Riches, as well as the new Season 2 episode.

I think I might be in a certain amount of trouble here.

Ah, thank you for reminding me! I've just gone to look up (after some chasing around) who the actor playing the bald guy in the Company's cells. He's played by Francis Capra, who was Weevil in Veronica Mars.

I liked episode 1, but there were bits in episode 2 which seemed over extended (Clare's stalking section, for example). I like Nathan's invisible chess partner. Glad they found something there :)

I'm curious as to how badly wrong things are going to go, and who's going to end being a good guy, and who'll be bed (Mrs Petrelli's version of events seems to have been a good one, in the past, although she refuses to explain it to people, which makes her a bitch, but not evil. In which case, that'll be an interesting turn around).
