My point was that you're not the first person to think Jed Bartlett's great, and I've seen articles in the past suggesting that his approval rating's much higher than any other (real) American president.
Of course, that's biased by the fact that the audience don't have to deal with the mundane, but unpopular decisions his administration probably had to deal with. Just the dramatic ones with popular appeal.
