Lazy weekend
Nov. 22nd, 2004 06:20 pmHave been unbelievably lazy this weekend. Didn't even touch my computer or my notebooks with fic/novels in progress. Which, of course, means that I've got a ton of unread emails and flist stuff to catch up on. Didn't even start on that until 4pm today because I was still being totally lazy. For the first time in months I had the house to myself for a few hours and took complete advantage.
Slept until 9am.
Curled up next to a warm radiator for the morning and read.
Caught up on last week's episode of Monarchy - I am such a history-nut, especially medieval stuff.
Cooked yummy pasta for lunch.
Curled up next to a warm radiator and carried on reading until 4pm.
I wasn't even reading fic - I finished off a Lois McMaster Bujold book (curled up laughing in places - everybody must read her stuff) and got most of the way through a Chalet School book. I'm going through my second childhood here, aided by my local secondhand bookstore and T buying me a stack of Chalet School books. Whee!
I loved my lazy day :-) Tomorrow I'll be back at my grindstone, but I feel so much better for having a few quiet hours.
