Last day at work

selenayIt is officially my last day at my current employer. As of 4pm this
afternoon, I will be an unemployed person on my way to a new life in Canada.
Yaaah!
I'm actually starting to feel really excited now, but I suspect that a lot
of that is excitement about leaving my job. Oops. I'm also feeling nervous
because I'm leaving this place and on Monday everyone is going to be try to
do my job without me. There is a really big part of me that is worried I
haven't prepared people adequately and that there are things I'll have
forgotten to tell everyone that they'll need to know in a month's time. That
part of me also doesn't want to be remembered as the person who caused
untold headaches by leaving without handing over everything properly. It's a
very selfish, pathetic part of me.
My desk area is festooned with banners, baloons, streamers and flags thanks
to my lovely colleagues and it's an odd feeling to realise that people are
apparently going to miss me. What did I do to make people like me? I'm not
usually that memorable! I will have to take photos of the desk before I
leave because it really does look great. For now, though, I need to continue
clearing out my desk and handing over the billion and one things that people
still need to know. Then I can go to my leaving do and enjoy myself. I've
never had a leaving do before so it's all new experiences and I'm really
looking forward to it.
Oh god, too much to do and not enough time to do it in!

One of my plans for tomorrow is to get the "Woo, 500 reviews!" graphic done and update the reviews. Then I'll give it a couple of days and update the rest so you'll know which ones I haven't actually reviewed yet. Does that help? I feel like I've barely had a moment to myself over the last few weeks!
