The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

The good: I saw Fairport Convention on Monday and they were fabulous.

The bad: I didn't sleep much Sunday night, I was out late on Monday and
despite having an early night and sleeping well last night, I am now in a
place somewhere beyond complete exhaustion.

The ugly: This has so far been the worst week at work that I've known for at
least six months. Also I have a headache, sore throat and needed my asthma
meds this morning. Either I'm coming down with one of the many bugs doing
the rounds of the office or the exhaustion is making me ill. Or possibly it
is a combination of both.

Is it time to go home yet?

Fairport are always great, one of the few bands that still seem to tour for the love of it ...

Cropredy has a good line up this year - though I have to admit to being bemused to see Supergrass and teh Levelers on the bill...

I do like Fairport. Sadly, Cropredy is the weekend that I'm moving! Darn their timing.

They had the Cropredy leaflets at the concert and I was somewhat bemused by the Levelers...

No one can ever say they aren't varied :-)

The sore throat thing is going round our office at the moment. I really don't want it, since I'm still getting over the inner ear infection.

At least you get three lie-ins this weekend! I might be driving to yours on Saturday, or I might get the buses, depending on how my dizziness is - I will have to test my driving on a shorter distance and see how I do.

Thank you :-) I ended up calling in sick on Thursday because I was feeling very vile indeed, but I'm feeling much better now and my Saturday has been lovely :-)
