Convention and election stuff
Nov. 3rd, 2004 06:53 pmThe research report is finally at the typo-checking stage. Yeah! I can now print it off and hand it to Mom before I leave for the convention tomorrow. Whee!
The Teyla/Weir short that I've been threatening is done, but I haven't had any time today to sit down and do my final checks. If I have time tonight or tomorrow morning, I'll put it up here. Otherwise it will have to wait until I get back from the con, along with the 27 fanfic reviews. And a wallpaper.
For a gal with no time, I seem to have done a lot. Can't work out where I found the time - possibly when I should have been sleeping, which may be why I've got a monster headache and my eyes are blurry. Hmm. I've spent most of today running around to get stuff ready for the con. Note to self: never leave con preperation to the last minute. I've backed brownies to take andpoison feed people with and I now have beautiful bright red hair. The hairdresser and I are much happier about the colour this time around. And tomorrow I'll be heading off for SG-8 to see Teryl my cool SG friends. Yay!
Guh. Bush again. I'm a Brit, living safely (huh) three thousand miles from the man, and I'm still terrified by this result *sigh* I don't think that anyone needs to remind me not to emmigrate to America, at least within the next four years. I'll stay over here for now and emmigrate to Canada in 2008. At the moment I'm just feeling grateful not to be an American. I'll be watching to see what Bush's next move will be with great interest (and a tiny bit of fear).
