Waah! I am still at work, nearly two hours after I should have left! I was
working on a report to put in a fix for a data issue. Which was cool. Except
then I broke it a tiny bit so I've had to re-run it (again!) and that is
what I am doing.
Waiting.
Can't go anywhere until it is finished.
Just waiting a bit more.
Gah! I want some supper! Me is a starved person. Plus I have a stonking
headache. *So* glad that we're heading into a weekend. May have to indulge
in very large amounts of chocolate tonight while watching slushy films.

Date: 2007-12-08 05:14 pm (UTC)Er, instead I had some rather excellent sausages from my local, award-winning butcher :-) After all, I did hit an all you can eat Chinese thing on Sunday...

A question about your icon - I've seen the font on it on quite a few icons in various places. It looks really useful for text because it's still readable when small. Do you know what it's called? I joined a SJA icon contest comm where you make icons from images provided, so given that my icon making skills run to not much more than sticking interesting text on stuff, that font looks really handy.

Date: 2007-12-08 05:27 pm (UTC)The font that I used on the icon is called Silkscreen. It can be found at Dafont and downloaded for free. It looks best at around 6px, which is why it's perfect for icon making. And you need to turn off anti-aliasing when using it for maximum readability. It's an upper case only font, but actually the pixel/bitmap fonts look best in upper case.

Date: 2007-12-08 07:29 pm (UTC)Thanks for that font! I've had a play with it and it seems to work best at 5px for me. I can see why it's good for icons though, because any bigger looks horrid.
