How to be stylish
Nov. 6th, 2007 07:54 pmFor the last few days I've been really cold in the office. Although I can put on a nice warm cardigan to keep my body warm, my hands are getting very cold and they've started locking up much more than normal. Obviously this is just a tad annoying and also makes my finger joints ache after a while.
In retaliation, I have dug out my old black fingerless gloves for work tomorrow. Ha! Take that, you stinking cold office!
If they help a lot then I may have to go out and buy myself some slightly more stylish, colourful accessories. I'm going to be the talk of the office!
It's been a very busy few weeks but I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel with the Really Big Project. The first deliverable is due in a few days and I'm on track for delivering on time or possibly even early. Yay me! The second phase will be all the adjustments that the High Ups want to make to the new report that's part of the project, but at least the first stage is going OK. In fact, it will be delivered just before my week's holiday so that will be perfect: time to relax and breathe once the big stress has gone.
Speaking of next week...am I the only person who squeed out loud when the Radio Times arrived this week? Would it be very wrong of me to try to persuade my boss to book the celebratory meal for any day other than Children in Need? After all, there's the Doctor Who special!
I am now going to watch Holby City (I am mad, I must be) and eat brownies :-)
