selenay: (are you my mummy)

Today I am feeling crappy. My back was hurting too much to sleep properly last night; I have a feeling that I shall be visiting the doctor later in the week for better pain meds if it doesn't stop.

And so, because I always do this when I have a crappy day, I'm making a list of good things in my life:

1. My final French essay is half finished. This isn't as far as I'd hoped to be, but the fact that I did any work on it with my back hurting is pretty good going.

2. I only have the French essay to do and the oral and then I'm finished with college. Yay!

3. I have worked out the bit of plot for Sensible Man that was blocking me and I now know how the whole thing will go.

4. I shall be going out for curry at the end of the month with The Girls to celebrate the submission of my final essay.

5. I have a bar of Green and Blacks chocolate sitting on the desk next to me.

6. BBQ flavoured mini-Cheddars. Nuff said.

7. I have booked tickets for my February trip to Canada.

8. I had a great meet-up with [livejournal.com profile] paranoidangel42, [livejournal.com profile] blonde_sheep and [livejournal.com profile] kate_closet on Saturday where we spent the afternoon on deckchairs in St James' park followed by dinner at Garfunkels.

9. I have lovely books to read from my book shopping expedition a couple of weeks ago - Court of the Air is very good.

10. [livejournal.com profile] paranoidangel42 has leant me a copy of the episode of The Dead Zone that features Teryl Rothry. Yay.

That's my list - tell me your good things!

The SJA newsletter (although it's Sarah specific rather than just SJA) is http://community.livejournal.com/soniclipstick/

To which I have no comment.

I thought about making a comment about that HP newsletter, then decided it made it for itself :)

The SJA newsletter is going to be everyday except Saturday. For the moment, anyway.

Yes, I'll need to set the video too. The next episode is on straight after on the CBBC channel - but even I won't get home till halfway through that.

Fandom: always guaranteed to find the silliest acronym possible.

Harry Potter fandom especially, it seems.

You'd think that the BBC would know that half the people watching SJA will be over the age of twenty, wouldn't you?

Yes, but since their target audience is 6 year olds, they do have to get it in before they go to bed. Although if they'd just put it on a Sunday, that would have been far better!

Definitely. Although it annoys me that the BBC do the next episode on a digital channel, but never repeat the one on terrestrial. So unless you're watching the digital version and you miss one, you're screwed.

I'll be setting my PVR - although I just set everything on the weekly setting, in case I forget to watch things!
