Good things list
Sep. 17th, 2007 11:34 amToday I am feeling crappy. My back was hurting too much to sleep properly last night; I have a feeling that I shall be visiting the doctor later in the week for better pain meds if it doesn't stop.
And so, because I always do this when I have a crappy day, I'm making a list of good things in my life:
1. My final French essay is half finished. This isn't as far as I'd hoped to be, but the fact that I did any work on it with my back hurting is pretty good going.
2. I only have the French essay to do and the oral and then I'm finished with college. Yay!
3. I have worked out the bit of plot for Sensible Man that was blocking me and I now know how the whole thing will go.
4. I shall be going out for curry at the end of the month with The Girls to celebrate the submission of my final essay.
5. I have a bar of Green and Blacks chocolate sitting on the desk next to me.
6. BBQ flavoured mini-Cheddars. Nuff said.
7. I have booked tickets for my February trip to Canada.
8. I had a great meet-up with
paranoidangel42,
blonde_sheep and
kate_closet on Saturday where we spent the afternoon on deckchairs in St James' park followed by dinner at Garfunkels.
9. I have lovely books to read from my book shopping expedition a couple of weeks ago - Court of the Air is very good.
10.
paranoidangel42 has leant me a copy of the episode of The Dead Zone that features Teryl Rothry. Yay.
That's my list - tell me your good things!

Date: 2007-09-19 10:02 am (UTC)And according to Radio Times, I will need to remember to set my video up on Monday for SJA. Um, why isn't there a repeat out there for adults who want to watch?

Date: 2007-09-19 10:54 am (UTC)The SJA newsletter is going to be everyday except Saturday. For the moment, anyway.
Yes, I'll need to set the video too. The next episode is on straight after on the CBBC channel - but even I won't get home till halfway through that.

Date: 2007-09-20 08:24 am (UTC)You'd think that the BBC would know that half the people watching SJA will be over the age of twenty, wouldn't you?

Yes, but since their target audience is 6 year olds, they do have to get it in before they go to bed. Although if they'd just put it on a Sunday, that would have been far better!
