Stuff. And other stuff

The dw_femslash fic is done barring the edits which I am just about to do. Yay me.

The cats have discovered the joys of my bathroom and, thankfully, worked out how to get out of the bath as well as in. I had visions of needing to rescue stranded kitties regularly.

Annie wants to catch my cursor. Obviously, that is not helpful when trying to edit fic, apply for jobs and sort out driving lessons. Silly kitten.

We're having my aunt over tonight for a movie night. She's hiding from her housemate because the housemate's ex is going back to Ontario tomorrow and there will be much weeping at 5AM. Life in my household is much more civilized.

Annie has now decided to take an early nap in my lap. That bathroom exploration was exhausting.

Interviews and kittens

I have an interview! For a job that I might actually stand some hope of being able to know things about. It will be at 1.30pm on Thursday so crossed fingers would be good.

In other news, Annie has discovered the tumble-dryer. It is a warm and new place.

Kate has discovered that the cupboard where I keep my cereal has little cereal-morsels hidden in it. We'll never keep her out of it.

They're both squashed on my lap right now having a nap. Um, they fitted much better two weeks ago. Damn, they've grown fast!

Spoilers: Nothing really unless you've never seen SJA or 1970s Doctor Who. I started this before watching the start of season two SJA and I'm a spoiler-phobe, which is why the canon doesn't quite tie up with what we've now seen.

In other news, I may have a small crush on my lady landscaper. Erm.

And she might be back next year because Mum has engaged them to mow our lawns regularly so that I don`t have to feel bad if I pop a joint (as I did on Saturday) and end up unable to mow for a few days. Please remind me that I must work next year and thus cannot hang around hoping that she`s my mower once a week.
