Lurgified again
Aug. 26th, 2007 07:05 pmI have lurgy. AGAIN!
I was still getting over the cold from earlier in the month and now I'm icky again. This time, amazingly sore throat, headache and sore, prickly skin with a side order of occasional full body muscle aches (witness most of last night until I broke down and took Pills). I'm starting to suspect that my immune system has taken August off.
To make things better, my neighbour has been doing DIY things with electric saws and drills all day since 7.30am, just to make sure there was no chance of sleeping this off. Is it really wrong to kill him? Especially when he's likely to do it tomorrow?
I have done college work today despite the lurgy and also finished the re-read of HP7. Erm. No, I'm not really a fangirl or anything...
Right now I am copy some CDs for Mum to take with her to Canada tomorrow while working on A Sensible Man (I figure that will make
historyterry quite happy *bg*) and then I plan to have a quiet evening with ice-cream, a book and, possibly, the last episode of House. Thankfully tomorrow is a bank holiday so once I have waved off the parents, I'll have the day to recover (while doing more college work) from this lurgy.
