Oh, the stupid

People, when I send out a report titled "Something measured for week xxx", that actually means the measure covers the whole of week xxx. Not a couple of random days from week xxx. Was there anything in that report that indicated it just covered the weekend? No. Then I think we can assume that the report covers the whole week. In fact, it's covered the whole week ever since it started to be issued four years ago.

I love starting Mondays with the crazy people *sigh*

I got to listen to a podcast from CBC Radio on the way in this morning. How cool is that? Canadian news with Canadian voices in my car :-)

And now I have to respond to an email from the datawarehouse team asking why my reports are overrunning and affecting the batch. Quite frankly, I don't know because they're usually finished by the time I get in each morning. Today is shaping up to be thoroughly frustrating *sigh*
