Childhood's End comments

We've got a new TV/video/DVD system. It looks very cool, although I do have a lot of manuals to read so that I can figure out how the hell to use it all. Best part - DVD recorder. Yay! I can finally transfer some old videos (1980s old) onto DVD and they'll take up much less space. Plan is to transfer all the videos that we've record (ranging from old Doctor Who eps and Tour coverage through to the ballet shows that my sister and I used to dance in) onto DVD and ditch the originals. Honestly, I've been afraid to play the videos for the past few years incase they die on me. So big yay for that.

I haven't had time to watch last night's Stargate, but I was unable to resist the lure of new Atlantis.

I managed to do a little work on the original novel - a very little. But at least the ideas are following better:

New words handwritten: approx. 250
Total words handwritten: 14,000

No comment on the typed up totals :-) My second Teyla/Weir short thing just needs a final read-through before I post it anywhere.
