Monday morning babble

selenayI have high hopes that this week will suck a little less than last week. Not much less, but possibly slightly less. It's helped by me having a holiday on Thursday :-) I'm taking the day off for a hospital appointment, but that will be two hours out of a glorious day of not workingness.
Heh.
While sitting in traffic this morning, I noticed the town's cafe and had a thought. It's a cafe that, apparently, serves breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Exactly what time does breakfast start for it, though? Because at 8AM it wasn't open and showed no signs of life within. Is it one these places that serves an all-day breakfast but doesn't start until pretty late in the morning? Huh.
It's these little questions that end up driving a girl crazy on a Monday morning.
I am spending today training someone as my back-up. Yay! Considering I've been saying for six months that we need someone and Da Boss almost went insane while I was ill, this is definitely a good thing.
Ooh, someone brought us free sausage sandwiches. I may have to investigate :-)
