It worked! It worked! The program I'm writing for the research project worked!
Ahem. Calming down. Initial testing shows that program does what I intended it to do. I haven't yet tested whether it can download files or done any tests with deliberately incorrect data going in, but so far it works perfectly. The remainder of the testing will be completed on Monday and then I can begin whacking a graphical interface on it and retesting. The good news is that I'll know it's not the core functionality that's the error if the graphical version doesn't work properly and debugging should be much easier. Yay! I may not fail!
I didn't do anything else today, except have a massage that has worked out some of the kinks from way too much code work. I intend to have a quiet, relaxing evening and not touch the college stuff again until Monday. First I must turn trout fillets into supper...
