French monks and Heroes

historyterry for coffee this morning and finally met her friend R. Turns out that we both went to the same grammar school and know each other :-) T has also promised me some fab photos taken at the Doctor Who exhibit in Manchester. I feel iconnage coming on.
Speaking of...yay, it's Doctor Who Saturday!!
Ahem.
I am currently learning about French monks. Apparently, it's vitally important that I learn all the vocab needed to discuss monks and their lives. Okaaay.
I made a truly wonderful discovery today. Actually, it's fairer to say that Da found out and I merely did the leg work on working on what we needed. Sci-Fi is doing a re-run of all the Heroes they have shown so far, which means that we can grab all the episodes lost in the great Sky+ crash of two weeks ago. Yay!! I sense that we will be having a Heroes marathon on Monday and attempting to catch up. I will be transferring them all the DVD pronto to ensure we don't have another tragic loss. How cool is that, though? Because really, attempting to download over a BT broadband connection is just pointless *sigh*
So, kind of weird but good day. Tomorrow I must attend to bookcases so that I can fit all my books onto said bookcases. Stacking on floors is a very Bad Idea.
