selenayToday is going to be a Bad Day. How can I tell this?
We had a 0.5 second power flicker around half an hour ago. My PC was the only one that triggered a shut down and reboot. There were three large datawarehouse reports running on my PC that have now had to be started again from scratch. Those reports had been running since 7AM.
*sigh*
This means that I am now officially an hour and a half behind where I should be today and, because the datawarehouse is going to be really busy now, the reports are going to take five times as long to run as they would have two hours ago. So an hour and a half is a kind estimate and likely to rise as the day goes on.
Is it time to go home yet?
