selenay*g* I've finished the last assignment for once of my college courses. Go me. I'll let it rest, check it over in a couple of days and submit it with several days breathing space. Either that or I'll let it rest, completely forget about it and submit it at the last moment on the 24th. Whichever works :-)
I should like to note that I am soon going to give in and smash my watch. Until Easter I had a nice LCD watch with a metallic strap. I was finally persuaded to part with it because it was randomly loosing a couple of hours several times a week, resulting in me being randomly late to things. It was also refusing to be reset half the time. Now I've got a normal watch with little metal hands and a leather strap.
The thing fucking *ticks*!
The bloody watch has the loudest tick I've ever heard. I hate things that tick. It's not too bad if I'm somewhere noisy where the tick can be drowned out, but when I'm working or reading in a silent room I can hear it. And it annoys me. At the moment the bloody thing is on the opposite side of the room under a pile of T-shirts. I'm tempted to leave it there, except I know that I'll get annoyed when I look down at my wrist to find a complete lack of watch. I may possibly ask for a new watch for my birthday, but I'll make absolutely certain that whatever I get doesn't tick (even a tiny bit) and has a metal strap with a clicky clasp because the leather one is annoying to put on.

I saw a nice watch when we were shopping for one for sis a few months ago. Having lived with this damn ticky thing for a few months, though, I think that any watch I get will have to be vetted for ticky-ness before I agree to buy it. How nuts is it that my major requirement is no tick?
