Spring, England style

It appears to be winter here again. But not the good kind of winter - the kind that's wet, cold, icey, with ocassional ventures into snow and hail. Lovely.

I will do a seperate Heroes post for those trying to stay spoiler free.

Today is hopefully going to be OK, except I've been told that a manager has more "builds" on a report that was supposed to go into production last week. I have warned him about the holiday I have at the end of the week and the fact that, should those builds be major ones, they definitely won't be ready for next week. I am *not* cancelling my holiday for this. :-p~~~

Also, shoulder - WTF? It's my hip and back that hurt, not my shoulder! So stop that right now *glares*

I may be feeling a little punch drunk from being OMG so tired today. Had a bad night with very weird dreams and I really need to wake up now. It doesn't appear to be happening, though. The waking up, I mean.

gmul: My sister apparently is holding a CD from you for me. Thank you! And she's finally been pursuaded that I really do have friends out there :-)

*Hugs* This weather stinks. They've turned the heating off here and I started the morning with ice blasted sideways into my ear. Not nice, but shows that someone up there has a sense of humour. On the bus journey home last night, I had rain, hail, snow and gales. Not bad for 2 miles!

Hope things are going okay with the courtesy car.

It's March, of course they've turned the heating off! *g*

The courtesy car has been fine, but I definitely would have preferred to have my own car in this weather. I drove home through heavy snow, moving into blazing sunshine about half-way home with a rather abrupt suddenness. Huh.

And she's finally been pursuaded that I really do have friends out there
Despite having met one, not least me? She though was as lovely as described and glowed a delicate shade of pink when I popped in to see her. Although I think I did too.
It's so long since I did the playlist I can't remember why half the stuff is on there but see how you get on anyway. Much of it is quite silly as I remember.

She's very pretty indeed and blushes rather nicely, although I suspect rather more frequently than she wants to - it's very easy to make my sister blush :-) Not that I do it deliberately or anything...

Thanks for the CD - we're going to exchange hostages on things the next time I see her. It probably won't be until Easter at the rate things are going, but she promises to remember it.
